TV Actor Iqbal Khan Teaches You How To Keep Your Passion Ignited
TV actor Iqbal Khan who is dabbling in romance genre with Sony's new show Pyaar Ko Ho Jaane Do along with Mona Singh (of Jassi fame) says, "Mona and my story in the show reflects the lives of many married couples whose romance just fizzles out when both husband and wife are busy in their respective spaces. You need to watch it to see how the spark is rekindled. My character Ishaan is someone who everybody would want to emulate."

Hmmm... but how does he do that in real life, we ask?

Iqbal who has been happily married for eight years, says, "Romance is the most important element in life, for it liberates you through the happiness you get by making the other person feel special. In today's highly stressful environment, you get a sense of empowerment if you have your loved one supporting you alongside. Surrendering your self to the other is the high point of romance."

Is it an easy task? "Not at all," he replies, "I know that over the years, one's time for romance reduces due to family and work pressures --- but we need to make an effort to keep it going. You should always have fun in life. It is not wrong to let your hair down once in a while. One should learn to be light-hearted, laugh and hang out with friends."

That doesn't answer our question. So Iqbal elaborates, citing his equation with his wife Sneha, "By the time I return from work it is late so my daughter is fast asleep. Rather than letting my wife slip into the kitchen, I make her sit down and inquire about how her day went by. We try to talk about everything under the sun apart from my work. It is essential to unwind after a hard day's work and that does not happen only by dozing off. Also the conversation takes away all your fatigue and you feel fresh."

Iqbal and Sneha are the proud parents of a 4-year old daughter Ammaara.
